Moped robberies continue to increase in Astoria

Police are continuing with the investigation of suspects in mopeds targeting victims to rob. The latest incident was reported on Northern Blvd and Standard Lane around 4pm on November 7.

Four suspects took off in 2 mopeds. This is the 6th incident since the weekend in Astoria.

Meanwhile, suspects are on the robbing spree from the vehicles targeting victims walking with weapons.

The latest incident was reported on Rockaway Blvd and 135th Place in South Ozone Park around 2am.
