Bullets went around in Rosedale

Police from the 105th Precinct were at the intersection of Lansing Avenue and 232nd Street reporting of multiple shots fired. This is in Rosedale. The incident started when an off-duty NYPD detective approached a man and then shots ran out between them.

Police didn't disclose details of what caused the incident. However, the man opened fire causing the detective to return fire.

Then the suspect took off on foot without getting shot. Police recovered the gun nearby.

So far no arrests.
