MTA worker assaulted in Jamaica

Around 4am last night, a dispute turned into slashing at the local subway station in Jamaica. This is at the F train stop at the 179 Street station. A lone suspect, male, black, got into an altercation with an MTA worker which resulted in slashing.

EMS transported the worker, male, 54, to a local hospital.

The suspect took off on foot toward an unknown direction.

So far no arrests.

Ongoing investigation.
