Suspect now charged with attempted murder in the Queens

A victim who was minding her own business was assaulted and the original charges were attempted robbery and weapon possession.

After outrage from the public, the Queens DA has upgraded the charges to attempted murder.

The incident sparked anger to many when a female victim was stabbed on July 28 at the local subway station, Van Wyck in Jamaica.
