Long Island was traffic busy time for cops

Over the weekend, traffic accidents continue to pile up on Long Island including fatalities.

As of today, there were three deaths.

A couple died in a single crash in Ronkonkoma on Saturday morning. A vehicle crash on the Meadowbrook State Parkway on Sunday around 1:30pm resulted one death.

As of this morning, there were 13 accidents involving injuries on Long Island forcing many roadways including the LIE, NSP and SSP to delay or close.

Meanwhile, the NYS Troopers are arranging to setup checkpoints for sobriety as usual every year for next weeked.
