Dead body investigation behind a distribution center in Ridgewood

The NYPD reported a call came in for a body found floating in the water behind the distribution center of Western Beef near the FedEx cargo place. The incident was reported on Sunday around 5pm near Metropolitan Avenue in Ridgewood.

ESU removed the body and the medical examiner transported afterward to conduct an autopsy.

Detectives are working on the case.
