Long Island organization seeking public help

The SCPD reported over $50,000 worth of toys saved for the holidays for children were reported stolen in Huntington, Suffolk County.

Police say a complaint was brought forth by the organization, Toys For Tots after toy gifts wrapped and packed ready for children went missing over the weekend. Now the organization is asking the public for help with toys meant for the homeless and needy children. Each gift was made on request from Santa for each child who was waiting for the gifts this week.

The community is getting help and told all the loser suspects or whoever stole can return and will be forgiven due to the Christmas spirit.
