Just cough up forty or thirty bucks an hour in NYC

The NYC Council passed the Construction for Justice in NYC for each worker to earn $40 an hour for the affordable housing construction in part paid by taxpayers.

This is a huge victory for workers in the unions that mainly control NYC.

The next mission is $30 an hour for the entire city wide jobs.

Starting next year a new affordability is coming where rent will be an average of $3,000 to $6,000 a month all over the boroughs except Staten Island. The most affected one is in Queens within the casino distance between JFK and LGA airports where new roadwork and Babylon towers are under planning.

Despite the majority complaints under the program, NYC Housing Connect, affordability is nowhere near for any given apartment and the odds of winning the housing lottery is 1 in 10,000 on the waiting list.

While the NYS budget on affordable housing is $25 billion, NYC under the incoming Mayor has not determined yet until an announcement is made next year once enforcements are in place to raise money.

NYC is going to be so exciting next year as an affordable city promised by the incoming Mayor.
