Langan can punch any sunroof to rescue people

The incident that was posted of a car submerged in the vicinity of Kew Gardens Interchange during the flash flood has a new hero for the city. His name is Travis Langan, a member of FDNY and off duty heading home. During rush hour to home on the Grand Central Parkway bound, Langan saw a Tesla Model 3 submerged in the water with a female driver inside. Langan to the rescue without hesitation went to the car and the strength of his bare hand punch broke the sunroof from top.

Then removed the driver named Carmen who was heading from Brooklyn to home.

Today, they were reunited during a press brief with the NYC Mayor.

Carmen quoted, “I’m proud Spider-Man is from Queens, but we have a real superhero in town. Thank you, Travis, for saving my life."

Everyday members of the FDNY, NYPD, EMS and scores of city workers put their lives into saving people like it's another day.
