Protest is now a daily show at Federal Plaza

The average apprehension by the Immigration Customs and Border (ICE) in NYC is 300 per month and growing. All are wanted on notices issued including crimes and those ordered deportation under the Biden Administration.

Of approximately 300 approximate, 200 are wanted for serious crimes from violent felonies to armed robberies after NYPD reported the incidents in the five boroughs. For Queens, Corona and Jackson Heights remains the hot spot where ICE is working quietly.

For Nassau County, the mission to clear MS-13 is on a steamroll non-stop.

Meanwhile, local nonprofits continue to organize protests against ICE to let all know no one is illegal and all are welcome in NY. The NYC budget just went up 19% for non profit agencies from the 16%. That number will increase depending on the next Mayor after the election. Since federal funding is limited, local nonprofits are raising funds from locals around the city with any amount of donations.

The migrants are still a demanding operation in NYC over homeless where agencies are working for higher paychecks from housing, medical and other support to stay free with taxpayer funds. However with schools soon to open on less federal budget after the Dept of Education is limited to give each state control, the NY Governor is reevaluating the first task, universal free school meals. The verified figures confirm NY State's portion for universal free school meals is $340 million annually, far less than its $2.4 billion 2024-25 budget allocation for migrant aid. NYC spent $3.75 billion in FY2024 on migrants, amplifying questions on priorities.

This is a wait and watch for public school children.
