LIRR suspended in both directions due to car struck on tracks

LIRR officials reported on Tuesday, November 21 around 12:20pm, a driver was hit while trying to cross the closed gates in Hicksvile. It happened on New South Road by Bethpage train station. The driver has been taken to hospital with injuries. Service suspended in both directions temporarily.
