Stabbing suspect in Glen Oaks arrested and charged

On November 19 around 11:30am, police arrested Rafael Cruzado and charged with slew of charges from weapon possession, acting in a manner injuring child, physical injury with weapon, harassment and other charges. On November 18, Cruzado went to his ex-girlfriend's house and got into altercation with the woman. Moments later, the victim's current boyfriend and Cruzado began arguing leading to stabbing. Cruzado's accomplice, a woman was trying to get away with the victim's child. After the stabbing, both Cruzado and his female accomplice took off in two different directions. After manhunt, Cruzado was arrested the next day. The female accomplice was arrested on the same day of incident on Grand Central Parkway and 82nd Street when the vehicle she was driving recognized by police. The child is safe with the mother. Cruzado pleads not guilty and his next court date is December 4. The incident had caused many road closures in Glen Oaks.
