Battle of the NY Governor race started

One will be Yay Trump and the other will be Trump's fault.

It's between the current Governor Kathy Hochul under the Democratic line and Bruce Blakeman, the Republican who is the County Executive of Nassau County.

The first battle was announced by Blakeman on Hochil's green energy scam. For this, The Trump admin paused 5 offshore wind projects on Dec 22, 2025, citing national security in the following states, VA, NY, MA, RI and CT after court ruling. Leave the details to imagination for voters.

As for Hochul, the Governor signed the NY Consumer Protection Law while the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at the federal level is being dismantled. This will allow locals to pursue claims that companies engaged in unfair and abusive practices mainly predatory lenders, abusive debt collectors, dishonest mortgage service providers.

More plans are under work and will be making announcements officially until the election is next November between Hochul and Blakeman.
