It is that time of the year starting Sunday in NY

St Patrick's Day events have been announced for NY overall including NYC and Long Island.

The biggest one is on March 17 on Fifth Avenue at 44th Street starting at 11am and continuing to 79th Street.

It is the second largest parade in NYC after the Macy's Thanksgiving event. Also the oldest and largest in the world, a renowned celebration of Irish-American history and tradition.

Since then the event has stretched to all over NY and Long Island continues to gain more parades in the last ten years.

All events are open to the public.
