Homicide investigation in Suffolk County

The SCPD reported calls came in around 5:30pm on Tuesday in Brentwood of a female victim who was found dead with stabbed wounds inside a home. This is in the vicinity of W White Street near the local North Elementary School.

ESU removed the body from the home and the medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy.

So far no arrests.

The investigation continues.

Update - The SCPD stated a person of interest is in custody after a domestic violence dispute. The perp is allegedly to be the son of the victim.
