Homeless camping setups under overpass bridges of CIP

Homeless in NYC continue to rise as of Monday, November 6. Several residents called 311 after reported of seeing homeless camps being setup under the overpass bridges on Cross Island Parkway from Glen Oaks to Bayside. This is near Union Turnpike Exit. Due to election taking place tomorrow for the mayor of NYC, the Dept of Homeless has no updates until next week. They reported a new plan is underway for the homeless issue which will be announcing in the coming weeks.
