Armed robbery at Astoria Bank in Jackson Heights

Police are reporting armed robbery at Astoria Bank in 72-35 Broadway in Jackson Heights. Reporting the male suspect, Asian Indian in his 30's entered the bank and passed note to the teller demanding money. The perp took off on foot northbound 73rd Street. Moments later police reported the perp took off with $2,000 currency but fake bills.
