Hit and run investigation of an NYPD officer in Corona

The NYPD reported an on duty police officer was struck by a vehicle in Corona. The incident was reported on Saturday morning around 5am when the cops in the patrol vehicle ordered the driver of a blue Subaru to pull over for speeding. This is in the vicinity of 108 Street and 46th Avenue in Corona.

The suspect driver clipped the police vehicle resulting in injury to the cop on the passenger side. Then the suspect took off after the pursuit was terminated. EMS transported the officer to a local hospital and was released with a foot injury.

So far no arrests.
