Hello bathrooms bye compost hopefuls in NYC

Today, the NYC Council selected members are working to introduce two bills. One is to add 1,000 more public bathrooms around the city. Currently, the city has 1,100 public bathrooms and half are out of order. One primary reason is homeless locking inside while staying. The other is plumbing issues which require a budget to repair. Oh well on the unsanitary conditions from the rest forcing people not being able to use it with a smile.

Also, some locations are open only from 8am to 10pm.

Another bill in the works is to eliminate the compost fines on residents. This came after more than 2,000 fines were issued at $25 for not composting during garbage pickups.

It's a cash grab the city desperately needs to keep up with social programs and should be voluntary only according to the council member who is working on the bill.

Both bills are a long shot and which one will pass is a wait and watch, especially the far left. One is to add more nuisance with taxpayer funds while the other is about enforcing taxpayers.

Excellent.
