Garden City man busted for possession of child porn

The Third Squad reports the Arrest of a Garden City man for Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child that occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 4:45 p.m.

According to detectives, officers responded to a radio assignment for a burglary report on County Courthouse Rd. Investigation discovered that Peter Alford, 24, of 35 Maxwell Rd., had been stealing money from his girlfriend?s roommate?s closet. He was arrested without incident.

Further investigation discovered that the defendant was in possession of multiple images and videos believed to be child pornography which was contained on the defendant?s computer. These videos contained female children between the ages of 8 and 13 performing sexual acts.

Peter Alford is charged with five (5) counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance By a Child, two (2) counts of Burglary 2nd degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Grand Larceny 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at First District Court, Hempstead. (From NCPD)
