Man busted for threatening and weapon possession at Roslyn Bank in Hempstead

Fifth Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Roosevelt man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 2:13 p.m. in West Hempstead.

According to Detectives, officers responded to a disturbance at the Roslyn Savings Bank, located at 50 Hempstead Turnpike. Upon arrival the officers located the subject and began an investigation. During the investigation it was determined the defendant, Raymond Ingram, 52, of 109 Park Avenue, had made multiple threats to the bank employees. During the search of the defendant he was found to be in possession of an ammunition magazine containing 12 rounds of .40 caliber bullets. The defendant also provided false information to officers during the investigation.

Raymond Ingram has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rdDegree, Menacing 2nd Degree and False Personation. He will be arraigned on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead. (From NCPD)
