Four people died in two separate incidents on Long Island

Mother's Day was tragic for two separate families on Long Island. Around 1am, a car crash resulted with three dead in Bethpage. Police say this was a single vehicle accident in the vicinity of Carol Drive and Stymus Avenue. This was in Nassau County where police say the driver of a 2022 Dodge Durango lost control and slammed toward a tree resulting in fire. All three died on the scene.

As for Suffolk County, around 12pm, a fatality was reported involving a motorcyclist in Bay Shore. This is in the vicinity of 5th Avenue and Candlewood Road.

The medical examiners transported all four bodies to conduct autopsies.

The investigation continues.
