Flushing diner closing doors after 50 years


The diner on 44-15 College Point Blvd, Kane's Flushing Diner will close doors next Wednesday after 50 years in the business. It was opened in 1968 and was a fixture for long time residents. Currently its operated by the second generation with two family members in Florida commuting to Flushing. The selling price of $15 million dollars has been sold to a real estate developer, Kenny Liu who will be the new owner as of June 1. The diner will also sell what's left of inside by May 1.
