Vehicle accident with serious injuries in Jamaica Estates

Police have closed off Homelawn Street and Grand Central Parkway service road due to vehicle accident with serious injuries. FDNY and EMS are on the scene. Avoid the route. Reported two pedestrians was struck by vehicle. Paramedics are working on the pedestrian in critical condition. Also Utopia Parkway closed to reroute traffic under GCP in both directions. Update - Two 15 year old teens were struck by vehicle driven by a 20 year old female. The incident happened when the driver was trying to make a left turn on GCP from Homelawn Street. One is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition. The driver is cooperating with police and so far no charges filed.
