Fire investigation at a local temple in Great Neck

The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 8:49 PM in Great Neck Plaza.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to North Shore Sephardic Synagogue locate at 130 Cuttermill Road for a building fire. Upon arrival, officers observed a heavy smoke condition emanating from the building. The Great Neck Vigilant Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to the scene. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. 

The fire was deemed non-suspicious at this time.
