Fire damaged one stretch stores in Rego Park

FDNY reported a 2nd alarm fire at a commercial strip on Woodhaven Blvd reporting multiple stores damaged. The fire started at 62-26 and extended throughout the strip when it started in back of the local laundromat around 11am this morning.

EMS reported injuries.

The fire was brought under control by 1pm.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
