Vehicle accidents on the LIE in Queens and Long Island

Long Island Expressway eastbound has all lanes closed after a multiple vehicle accident with injuries. This is by Exit 48-46.

The incident was reported this morning around 9:15am.

Further information reported one dead from the incident.

EMS transported all the injured to local hospitals.

Traffic is clearing lane by lane.

Around 9:45am also this morning, the eastbound was delayed in Bayside, Queens on the LIE.

This is by the Springfield Blvd Exit.

EMS transported all involved to local hospitals.

Both incidents are under investigation.
