Fatality on the SSP westbound

Police reported one dead and multiple injured on the Southern State Parkway westbound. It happened around 2:30am by Exit 17S in Hempstead. This is involving two vehicles with one rolled over. Reported a 2015 Jeep was rear ended by a 2018 Chevy Malibu and the Jeep rolled over. The driver of the Jeep, Terry H Rivens, 55 of Queens died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Malibu were taken to hospital with injuries. Both driver, Saybien K Barron and Latrell Adams, both 21 are in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
