Early morning accident landed multiple injuries on Hillside Avenue

Police reported around 4:15am, there was a collision involving a Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) bus and a garbage truck on Hillside Avenue. This is by 191st Street in Hollis.

Around ten people were injured but only minor and they were passengers inside the bus. All were taken to local hospitals.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
