Suspect in custody after pursuit in Ozone Park

Last night around 9:30pm, a police pursuit occurred with one arrest and an NYPD vehicle flipped. It happened on Liberty Avenue and 111th Street. Police tracked the vehicle and ordered the driver to pull over after the license plate and registration didn't match. Then the pursuit started. Later, the police vehicle was hit by the suspect driver with a Ford Fusion which caused the flip. The suspect took off but was stopped by another police vehicle. The two officers and the suspect were taken to local hospitals with injuries.

Charges are pending for the suspect driver.
