Dispute turned into stabbing inside a public bus in Jamaica

Around 10:30pm last night, the NYPD were called to the intersection of 89th Avenue and Merricks Blvd reporting a stabbing. Further investigation confirmed this was involving two males in a dispute inside the MTA bus, Q2 where one was stabbed.

Other riders ran out for cover.

The bus driver alerted the police.

EMS transported the stabbed male to a local hospital.

Police arrested the suspect.

Ongoing investigation.
