Easy to check bags at JFK coming soon

While there are signs of construction all over the JFK airport as part of $19 billion dollars for modernizing, a new setup will be added at Terminal 6 where you can check your own bags for less than 30 seconds.

This is developed by a company called Materna IPS called SSBD machine that's already deployed in other major airports and soon coming to JFK. The company also designs and develops automated passport scanning, biometrics verification, etc.

However, passengers still need to use the machines that provide self check-in to receive bag tags.

Once it's established, other terminals will deploy them.
