Despite 83 Queens is safe for all to be compared to the Bronx

From the Mayor's office, there were 83 shootings in Queens alone last year short of 17 to 100 which is what Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx scored.

So you all see Queens is safe.

According to the NYPD, almost all the shooting suspects are males, either Hispanic or black and confirmed no white race was involved.

This has many local part time elected officials from City Council, State Senate to State Assembly worried and more taxpayer funds are needed to combat gun control and violence in Queens.

That number is expected to go higher to 100 this year under the new Mayor who supports defunding the NYPD.

As for the statement, the Mayor and NYPD Commissioner are adding more patrols in the Bronx where the most shooting incidents occurred.
