Decomposed body investigation in East Elmhurst

The NYPD reported a decomposed body was found in East Elmhurst on Tuesday morning after a call came in. The incident was reported around 11am under the ramp of BQE connecting to Northern Blvd by Exit 41.

ESU removed the remains and the medical examiner transported them to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Police say this is a storage area which has not been used for a while.

As of today, the area is closed.
