Cut and let the water be free in NYC

NYC launched a new enforcement for water to be free to the environment instead of going straight to the sewer lines connected to the city pipes. This will be enforced by the NYC Dept of Environmental Protection that fines homeowners very heavily for sewer services more than water usage. Hey, NYC is right next to the ocean with plenty of water but the process is expensive.

This is part of the new environmental program to see earth with more greens and water like rice and beans. Moreover, the city says it will prevent overflow in the sewer system as well as minimize basement floods. Ok!

Just cut the pipe and put another one to let the water flow outside the property or face the first fine of $3,000, second one is $6,000 and third one is $8,000. Failure to pay the violation can lead to loss of property after the lien is attached.

The DEP agents will snoop around or a jealous neighbor will complain to 311 and then the enforcement starts.
