Coming soon to NYC another waste bin for food only

The new waste bin is for food only that are thrown away by people who feel they ate too much or does not feel like taking the leftover home. It will be used as a wasted product to increase bio gas production to heat homes during winter. Mayor Bloomberg worked closely on this project with Waste Management, the company that collects garbage in NYC. Rather than filling the landfill, wasted food is an excellent factor while saving gas, coal and other processing materials to heat homes. At the same time, it will reduce emissions while maintaining clean air. Now comes the best part and get ready for this. It is under DEP's guide and regulations so a bill is in place to fine homeowners if wasted food is not separated from recycle and other garbage for sanitation to pick up. Not just home owners but places that serve food as well. Currently the beta model has almost 100 NYC restaurants participating under Bloomberg's administration.
