Class action lawsuit filed against gym holding company

Gyms are closed in NY as part of non-essential business but many members reported they are being charged regardless. Class action lawsuit was filed by members against Town Sports International, the parent company of New York Sports Clubs, Boston Sports Clubs, Philadelphia Sports Clubs, Washington Sports Clubs, Lucille Roberts, TMPL Gym and Total Woman Gym and Spa. According to legal source, whether gym can charge its members when closed that's ordered by the government, if there is a clause, compensation is likely.
