Child died of injuries after car crash in Rego Park

The NYPD reported a child who was inside a stroller while one of the parents were pushing inside an apartment’s parking garage in Queens has died of injuries today. The incident was reported on Saturday around 6:30pm in the vicinity of 98th Street and 61st Avenue at the Park City Estates center near Queens Blvd in Rego Park.

The driver remained on the scene and continued to cooperate with the police. EMS reported no other injuries.

Highway CIS is continuing with the investigation.
