Next free food line coming to NYC for all

Just in time for Valentine's Day for those dreaming of eating with good times, a free food store coming to NYC for the first time created by a crypto company, Polymarket. The store will be called Polymarket and opens on February 12 at 12pm and continues until February 16 at 5pm. Once the location will be announced which is held in downtown Manhattan, it's first come first served for all. Check the location and bring a bed while waiting overnight for this exciting opportunity of free food for all.

This came after Kalsh announced the first launch with a $50 limit which was a success. People waited in line for hours in the cold without complaining.

Polymarket is a capitalist and not socialism so note the difference. Also, Polymarket donated $1 million to the Food Bank for the needy across the boroughs and the money will be used by the administration to continue operating well.

According to the NYC Dept of Homeless, as of February 2, 2026, there are 86,667 people in the shelter system of which 30,408 are children. The budget for 2026 for the Dept of Homeless is $4.4 billion which is not enough to feed the needy. Despite being the largest homeless agency nationwide with 2,000 staff citywide, $2.7 billion is allocated for shelter programs from family to adults. $384 million for outreach programs for those living in the streets. Administrative services from chauffeur, travel and other perks are 3% of the budget. Another $325 million is allocated for critical programs which goes to social services with payrolls.

The more homeless, the more taxpayer budget needed to run the services with more staff and programs.
