Carjacking investigation in Elmhurst

This morning around 5:30am, police reported a carjacking in Elmhurst. This is on Junction Blvd near 57th Avenue.

According to a witness, the victim of the vehicle was followed from the Long Island Expressway by two suspects.

One of the suspects displayed a weapon and then pushed out the victim from the vehicle. The suspects took off with the vehicle toward Corona bound.

Police described the suspects as males, Hispanics.

So far no arrests.
