Car fire closed all lanes on the LIE westbound

Long Island Expressway westbound at the Dix Hills, all lanes were closed earlier due to a fully involved car fire. EMS reported injuries. After an hour, firefighters were able to clear the lanes for traffic. A clean up crew is on the scene workig to remove the vehicle.
