Buffalo employee stealing packages from UPS

On April 4, 2025, Troop A Community Stabilization Unit arrested Laneille E. Jones, 23 of Buffalo, NY for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd – C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (Previous Conviction) -D Felony, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Over $3000- D Felony and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th (Firearm) -E Felony.

On April 4, 2025, Troop A Community Stabilization Unit, SIU Buffalo, and SP Buffalo K9, executed a search warrant on Hempstead Avenue in the city of Buffalo regarding stolen property.  Investigation determined that Jones, an employee who loaded trucks at UPS in Buffalo was stealing items from the UPS trailers.  Jones was arrested and transported to SP Buffalo for processing then transported to Buffalo Lockup for Centralized Arraignment.
