Basement fire damaged a home in Flushing

The FDNY reported a basement fire at a home in Flushing. The incident started in the basement on Sunday morning around 3:30am on Beech Avenue on the corner of Murray Street.

The fire marshal confirmed as 3rd alarm.

EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

The fire extended to the attic.

By 6am, the fire was brought under control.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
