It was Babylon from DWI to boat fire

The SCPD reported a wrong-way driver crashed into a boat in the water, resulting in a fire in Babylon. Then three more boats caught fire after extending from the first one.

The incident was reported last night at the Suffolk Marine Center on East Main Street in Suffolk County.

Police arrested the driver, female, of West Babylon accused of driving the wrong way on Route 231 and other charges.

Babylon residents thanked the firefighters working rapidly to avoid more boat fires.

The investigation continues.
