Arrest of North Hudson man for sexual abuse and weapon possession

On October 17, 2025, the New York State Police arrested Arnold J. Ross, age 63, of North Hudson, New York, for one count of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a Class D felony. The charge stems from allegations that Ross engaged in sexual contact with an individual less than 11 years old.

Subsequently, a search warrant was executed at Ross’s residence. During the search, six high-capacity ammunition feeding devices were seized. As a result, Ross was additionally charged with six counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a Class D felony.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are pending.
