Armed robberies showing new locations increasing in Queens

The NYPD reported armed robberies targeting victims and retail stores are now increasing in new locations in Queens. The first on the list is Flushing followed by Bayside, Douglaston, Glen Oaks and Bellerose.

The latest incident was reported in Auburndale yesterday around 7:30pm in the vicinity of 172nd Street and 40th Avenue. The same day on Queens Blvd, a victim was robbed by two suspects from the surveillance video disclosed by NYPD. This is outside the local Burger King in Rego Park around 7:30am.

Downtown Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue continue to report the same incidents and the latest one was on April 6 around 7:30pm. For Glen Oaks, Union Turnpike and 249 Street reported two victims of robberies and the same for Commonwealth Blvd near Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose.

The vicinity of Horace Harding Expressway in Douglaston reported robberies targeting seniors in the area.

All incidents remain under investigation.
