Adoption started for cats rescued from the Long Island fire

The cats rescued from the fire at Happy Cats Sancturary's adoption process has started. Some of the locations have been named to the public for adoption but a list have not been uploaded online. They are North Shore Animal Center, Bideawee Adoption Center and the Southampton Animal Shelter. A total of 231 cats as of today have been rescued from the area and all are being taken care of well by volunteers working around the clock. The other cats are under extensive care with burns and other injuries where vets are working to nurse them back to a healthy stage.

Also the volunteers are working to make the list of cats available for adoption online which will take more time.

For now, the list is this link,

This is a massive rescue operation with volunteers all over the area working with care with respect to the cats.

Here is Chris Arsenault's obituary.
