The Italian restaurant on the corner of Union Turnpike and 222nd Street Anthony?s closed doors for good. According to several sources, the eatery lost customers after city?s health department shut down for violations twice. There were rumors of owed back taxes but not confirmed. However multiple former workers confirmed the owner Patrick was behind rent and was evicted by the city marshal. Also, workers were not paid and their checks were bounced. The owners are inaccessible after reaching out. As of last week of June, the location remains empty but inside the inventory is being cleared out.
