Police released photo of suspect wanted for stabbing in Whitestone

Police released surveillance photo of the suspect wanted for serious assault classified as stabbing in Whitestone. The incident happened on Tuesday around 7pm at the CVS store on Francis Lewis Blvd and 20th Avenue. A 41 year old man was taken to hospital with injuries. Police reported the victim was stabbed in the shoulder with an unknown object. Ongoing investigation.
