NYPD made arrest on the rape investigation in Queens

The NYPD today made the arrest of a perp wanted in question for an alleged rape in Jamaica. The incident was reported on Friday, April 11 around 3am after the victim, a 50 year old female in the vicinity of 162nd Street and 89th Avenue reported to police with a statement in the hospital after EMS transported her.

The alleged defendant was located after several tip offs to the nearest migrant shelter where he was staying.

Charges are pending with the Queens DA's Office.

The investigation continues.
